Who is the better BG player: the one who has the lowest error rate, or the one who somehow maximizes the difference between his errror rate and that of his opponent?

I don't know which one is better, but the difference maximizer will be more successful, especially if he maximizes the difference of errors in cumulative mwc.

Is there evidence that Stick lets his opponents play significantly better than other top players do?
