Suppose your ER when training against a bot is typically about 3, whereas mine is 7. Suppose further that when you and I play head-to-head, your ER is typically 4 and mine is 12. Are you doing better against me than a bot would?

Not necessarily. But if the bot's estimates of equity are perfect and we are playing one-point-matches and the average number of moves happens to be the same whether I play the bot, you play the bot, or I play you, then the answer would be yes. Agree?
