I inherited an old Windows machine and am delighted to finally be able to join the XG party! The machine is 10 years old with only 0.5G of memory so of course it's slow, but I'm satisfied with XG's performance.
To begin with I am going to post a pair of rollouts that I did with GNU, but wanted confirmation from XG. The position below is a candidate for a rare instance where Jacoby might influence the checker play. The XG rollout confirms the surprising (to me anyway) GNU rollout result that the ugly safe play is correct with Jacoby, but tied with the bold play without Jacoby. As Casper and Neil said, this is backwards from what one would expect. Any suggestions as to what is going on?
