Error rate differences

Sorry, I missed that we were talking about relative cumulative MWC. Then I agree that it is the correct predictor of actual results. But contrary to absolute errors, relative cumulative MWC against various opponents is not a measure that one can easily aggregate in order to form a measure of playing strength, is it ?
