I haven't looked at any of the other responses yet (I don't if I can help it - I prefer to do my own work, warts and all, and then see if it makes any sense in the light of other responses), so this may have been said before or it may be all wet...

I'm forced to leave a blot. But I'm not forced to leave two blots. And I fail to see the utility of leaving two blots and abandoning either the 6 or the 8 point. So I play the prosaic 13/9 5/3. QF makes me wonder what I'm missing...
