I guess what I'm not seeing is how brown is going to mis-play this position. He'll enter, bring his stragglers around, and bear-in against an anchor while tan's board crunches. Seems pretty straightforward to me.
I can see some scenarios where brown has a chance to hit and he shouldn't, but I'm not seeing that he'd give up enough equity with that misplay to make up for tan's lost position.
I suppose brown might screw the pooch on the bear-in if he's a poor enough player, but if he's that poor why are you letting him turn the cube to a high value? Against weaker players I try not to let the cube get too big because even poor players get lucky and you don't want to be looking at a big cube when they do. (c:
