Short, Simple, Straightforward Response to Chiva's Question

In Response To: Senior Event (Chiva Tafazzoli)

The outstanding tournament director, gentleman, and polyglot Chiva requests, "But someone please explain to me the resaon for a seniors or a ladies side-event in terms of their backgammon capacities. Backgammon is not a physical game but a mind sport."

The reason for having the seniors' and ladies' events is simple. They have proven to be popular and they bring in money for the director.

Would you like to make more money at the next tournament you direct? If so, then run these two events.

Congratulations again to Norm Wiggins for winning the seniors' event in Vegas on his 81st birthday, which (as noted in a previous post) occurred on the day he turned 80 years old.
