It seems to me that the features of the position clearly indicates a blitzing plan. Blondie has 11 men in the attacking zone, an extra black blot, vulnerable blots in your house, blondie outboard black after hit 3-2, and with gammon you win the match.

Why would you settle for 2nd best?
