"N" word is more complicated

The minorities of this country - Jews, Blacks, Asians, and Hispanics - make wonderful contributions to our culture. However, their contribution, whatever it may be, becomes part of the American culture. Laura Ingraham was right. Black comedians, actors, Hollywood screen writers, and Black leaders cannot allow the "N" word to become such a huge part of their lives and not expect this word to become part of American culture.
When this word was becoming socially acceptable amongst Black people in the late 60's and 70's, Black leaders had the opportunity to reduce its openly accepted use. Black leaders are not good in providing fine education for its people or providing safe neighborhoods. However, Black leaders have always been good at protest marches and indignant condemnation of what they consider racist behavior. In the late 60’s and 70’s, these leaders could have launched campaigns against the ever increasing use of the “N” word. They could have boycotted movies with that language. But they did not. Instead they laughed along with Richard Pryor. Well Black America, it is too late now. The hypocrisy of frequent use of the word and condemnation of other Americans who use the word is noticeable. Nevertheless, I applaud Americans who refuse to use the insulting term in spite of the fact that Black Americans have allowed this term to become part of American culture.
