Gammon losses don't matter but the gammon value isn't much higher than normal. Yellow is far ahead in the race and has a good chance of bringing this one home safely without ever leaving a shot. Though the safest play, 7/1 6/2, is ugly and squanders some of that racing equity, I would still play safe. The bold 9/5* 9/3 just seems to me to lose too often.
