The first thing I wonder is how did tan get into this position? He must have made some really unusual moves, which makes me think as brown that I'm playing a clown. That colors my cube decisions since it's easier for a poor player to win a match due to luck if there are fewer games. That said, tan is leading the match, so maybe there's more to it than I'm seeing. Brown would have the advantage of having seen several games to assess tan's clownishness (or lack therof) and I have not. So I'll continue as if tan is a good player and was somehow dropped into this position.

The live-cube takepoint for tan is around 20%, so it seems like brown would want to wait a roll or two. But the live takepoint doesn't include gammons and tan should drop if it looks gammonish. Thus there are market losers, and more than there would be for money. It's still early and it doesn't look too gammonish for tan to take, but there are plenty of sequences where it will be too gammonish for tan to take next time.

So double/take ATS. If this is actually correct, then this is a position worth remembering.
