Q: Will XG2 be stronger than XG?

Yes, noticeably: currently the 3-ply level is +15.4 Elo (about 0.5 PR) stronger than V1 3-ply. Neil and I hope to grab a couple extra tenth Elo.

Q: Will you redo the Deprelli studies to test it?

It would be interesting yes. I am using internally a set of 400 games to determine the improvement (there are more than 5500 Decisions rolled).

Q: If it turns out to be stronger, I guess we can start over with all the opening rollouts. :-)

It could be interesting as the new 3-ply is almost as strong as V1 XGRoller+
