Hit 'em both! The question is which two to hit. 23/18* is a cinch, but which checker to hit with the 6? 13/7* means that white can't possibly hit back next turn, but white can make a second anchor and make things "interesting". Hitting loose on the 3 point will probably deprive white of a second anchor, and the three is the obvious next point to make so slotting it can't be too wrong. Plus there's that blot in white's homeboard - black will have a shot at it if he's hit.

So I play 23/18* 9/3*.
