8/2 6/5 just seems very wrong. If White rolls a 4 you will blot on the 11 point with 14 rolls, he rolls a 4 about 30% of the time so you leave about 4-4.5 shots on the 11 pt right off the bat. Add to that that you might not clear but leave another shot next roll (whether or not you blot) and that 8/2 doesn't help your position any and it's pretty surprising to me that 8/2 is only back by .014.
