The last part is an exaggeration and likely not correct even without "much".

There are very useful things you can do in gnu that are impossible with eXtreme. The problem with gnu regarding usability is the lack of good documentation for certain features. As a tool for studying the game effectively, applications that can only be operated inefficiently through the use of a mouse will be lacking.
