I agree strongly with this. I've only used GNU and XG (and very briefly BGBlitz) and they both seem easy.

I also don't understand how BG players who demand 46K rollouts of data for a backgammon position think that 1 data point (himself or herself) is enough to definitively determine whether one bot is more user friendly than another.
