Note that the $ to S differential is clearly less with 4 ply than 3 ply. Is this just statistical noise? Perhaps, but perhaps not, but anyhow it won't take that long to extend my 3 ply RO to 100k (103680 is a nice number)
I always welcome additional data, but please be aware that two other XG 3-ply rollouts of opening 21 already exist:
[$ S4] <36 (Ken, ext to 62k on queue)
[$ S4] <46 (Stick)The margin of your 57k rollout is between .008 and .009. Weight-averaging the three results gives us a composite of [$ S5.8] <139, and after Ken's extension we'll have 165k trials.
For the degree of accuracy you desire for comparing bot performances and tendencies, 57k trials is "nothing." So, what does that say about the statistical noise of the 4-ply rollout of only 24k? :)
