I appreciate your rollouts, David. I'm also impressed that you remembered (or figured out?) the > symbol for XG 5-ply.

To help clarify your odd/even parity observation for anyone who might not have fully grasped it, your opening 21 rollouts for 3-, 4- and 5-ply are:

    [$ S11] <5
    [$=S] ^5
    [$ S14] >5

In other words, after 5000+ trials, $ (Slot, 13/11 6/5) beats S (Split, 24/23) by .011, .000, and .014, with XG 3-, 4- and 5-ply rollouts, respectively.

In reality, these are pieces of a larger puzzle (unless one worships the altar of same-seed relevance and ignores the quirks of variance). In total, what we have now is:

    [$ S6.4] <194
    [$ S2.5] ^51
    [$ S14] >5

At some point, someone will probably extend your 5-ply result. That will give us more to think about. Thanks for getting the ball rolling.

Cheers,

Nack
