The 21 6/4 6/5* play shows up in 501 backgammon problems. There though it is just a race to win the game. It is correct cubeless but owning the cube about a .05 error due to the inefficient cube that results after the fan.

Here I think the cube access makes it right to hit 6/5 6/4 as can still cash after being hit. You are a dog to get the gammon the plain way so give him a chance to fan a couple times.
