I assume in such circumstances you are typically talking about an immediate roll. Can you not just execute the rollout from the position after the immediate roll is played as you wish?
I'm thinking about a situation where there are several immediate rolls that I would like to override. For example, say the bot wants to hit a blot but I want a rollout that doesn't hit the blot. To do what you say, at minimum I'd have to roll out all the rolls that hit the blot, and then manually combine the results (not to mention manually trying to do the variance reduction). For another example, people have done enough opening rollouts that they know that the bots change their mind upon rollout in several cases, so if you want to do a fresh rollout of (say) and opening 43 with all the "wrong" replies corrected, it would be convenient to be able to enter that information once and have the bot automatically do the "corrected" opening 43 rollout.
