And that needs an explanation. My fishy brain tells me: if we hit, black will likely fight for his 5 point. So the blot down from the midpoint is merely a liability, when we are under attack. So first going for a defensive anchor, then working on the offense. We can't do both at the same time. Starting also the 21 point will boost the chance, at least to make an advanced anchor.
