Thanks, Neil, for the ^19 rollout. Here is data for 52S-32:
52S-32 [H S9 K15 X21]
32Z-32 [K X7 H13 S49]
[H S3 K10 X19] ~20
[H S30 K34 X38] /5
[H S11 K13 X19] <62
[H S11 K19] ^19*12d[H S4 X6 K20] /5
g[H K23] /5
s[X K17] /5 (where is S and H?)Key: H = Hit (13/11 6/3*), S = Split (24/21 13/11, K = Kill (6/3*/1*), X = hit-and-split (24/22 6/3*). Margins are in thousandths.
Before the brackets, d = dmp, g = (gammon) go, s = (gammon) save; else assume money. After the brackets is a bot symbol (~ Snowie, / Gnu, < XG 3-ply, ^ XG 4-ply) and the number of trials in thousands, rounded down. (An asterisk repeats a number.) For example, "d[H S4 X6 K20] /5" means that at dmp, H is best, S is -.004, X is -.006 and K is -.020 in a GnuBG rollout of 5000+ trials.
Compare the aggs (bot aggregates) of the two diagrammed positions:
52S-32 [H S9 K15 X21]
32Z-32 [K X7 H13 S49]When White has a loose blot/builder (as in the right-hand position), there is a battle to see whether Blue will hit it or White will use it to make a point. Hence, S is suppressed, and hitting/deflection plays are elevated in value.
