Darwin and Freud were an insult - or still are - for certain human beings. Backgammon is difficult enough. XG put my nose at it, every day. I think, for some people, ranking backgammon as third and the luckiest too, is an insult. But backgammon is lucky and the swings are enormous, compared with bridge. Look what Danny wrote about it. And if you look at tournament no limit hold'em at a ten-handed table - backgammon is always heads up. I never wouldn't play a poker tournament with Gus Hanson, but backgammon?! Backgammon is a lifetime love, but i have no problem to admit, that i am to dull for bridge or poker.
