In chess do you think that a player should lose the match after nearly 5 hours when his flag falls because he failed to make his last move in time? Well, if you don't you're on opposite sides against the entire chess tourner world!!

The difference is that in BG, Bronstein TC is used and then someone who has only 30 seconds left for a long game with many moves is no where near as screwed as in chess where there is no delay time and that 30 second reserve time will be depleted every move.
