I make the 16 point here. (Yes, I know that the rollout has already been posted and half a dozen players better than me have already commented, but I always try to answer these quizes without reading what others have said. )

This gives a holding game and makes it difficult for White to clear the midpoint. White will be reticent to hit the remaining blot unless he can pick and pass (7 rolls). If we run with the checker on the 17, how are we going to get a shot? Big numbers allow him to leave a blot on the midpoint with only a 3 in 36 chance of being hit, small numbers allow him to play in his homeboard. I'm just not seeing much chances of winning by remaining on the 22 point
