I think that it's too crude to approximate the trailer's EPC as a 7-roll position. I'm not sure how many pips to add to account for the checkers on the higher points but maybe 3 extra pips for an EPC of 53?

For the leader it might be better to estimate how much wastage to add to the raw pip count. If we had only four checkers on the ace point and 11 checkers off then the wastage would be 11 pips. Here we have a gap on the deuce point and a straggler in the outfield. Again I'm not sure how much extra wastage but maybe another 4 pips? 36+11+4=51 EPC.

If these estimates are right then for money it would be ND but with the elevated takepoint ATS I'd guess D/T.
