Why I LIKE the Meyer Dice Tube

Are there any organisations that specify what a bona fide dice shake is? For example, is it acceptable that a player merely skids the dice around on the bottom of the cup?
The main 'organization' is the opponent. Nobody I play gets away with not shaking the dice. I tell them immediately. If it happens again, director time.
How many organisations specify a minimum number of such shakes?
While the ABT rules are poorly worded imo, 'A legal roll consists of shaking the dice vigorously ', I've always used the at least 3 shakes in OtB play.
How far above the board should the dice be released?
A few millimeters is no good. Keep your grubby hands away from the dice when they're rolling. The ABT rules address this but again fail to make any exact specifications 'tossing them out at a discernible height above the playing' surface.
Add to that, many seemingly honest players take offence to the idea that they created doubt with their actions
I honestly couldn't give a shit if someone takes offense to me telling them to learn how to shake or roll their dice. I'm not accusing anyone of trying to cheat, I want to assure random rolls.
....and that no dice mechanic can control dice from a lipped cup under those circumstances.
I do hope he explained loaded, weighted (shaved), and magnetic dice to you in there at some point.
What would a skilled cheat prefer? To use a cup, or the Meyer Dice Tube? I have little doubt it's the former. And baffle boxes - even without cups - would come a very distant third.
IF your one and only concern is assuring you don't get cheated then the tube or baffle boxes would win out. If we go that route I'd prefer to obtain my dice from a computer, it trumps all. In my view there are many other negative impacts of the dice tube and that is what causes me not to support it.
