With enough cryptographic protocols in place, I'd agree, but if a skilled cheat manages to sneak some malware onto your computer then electronic dice cannot be trusted either.

I'd not be too worried about the skilled cheat sneaking malware onto Stick's computer. I'd be more worried about the not-so-skilled cheat saying "lets use this nice dice rolling app I have on my iPhone".
