Disagree with Stick's Book Review

One big difference I note is that you consider Walter's Backgammon Boot Camp as an advanced/expert book. While the advanced or expert reader may get something out of this book, I find it an essential book to lay the ground work for anyone's bg career. In this sense it's an excellent beginner/intermediate book.

First of all, I have never read a pre-bot book that I did not hate with one exception

I hope that exception was Magriel's Backgammon. It combined with Trice's Boot Camp are the first two books I recommend (in order) to any newish player.

I wrote those reviews 4 years ago on the fly so don't hold me too hard and fast to my reviews.
