Expert and World Class Definition

3.5 standard for World Class is quite interesting. I'm not sure if I could reach that with my approach.
Another interesting method of establishing player's ability is by percentage. If somebody is better than 95% of all backgammon players, what is his XG PR rating? What is a top 5% PR rating? What is a top 10% PR rating? What is a top 25% PR rating? Before we begin to redefine Expert and World Class standards, backgammon players should know this data. I have the impression that we do not know this information.
Perhaps, XG's ratings are proper. Those who disagree may use the excellence of the players on this site and successful tournament players as a standard. Maybe, such a standard is too high.
I also agree that XG ratings mean much more when based on 5 to 9 point matches. 9 point matches are especially important due to a variety of cube possibilities.
I only play match games (5 to 9 points) for money at Play65. I have encountered very few players (less than 10) who play better than XG 6.0 at this site.
