I agree with Havard, and I hate to speak on behalf of someone else, but I believe that Gregg Cattanach feels that seeing a player shuffling checkers gives him information. This was based on a conversation I had with him many moons ago. I think he would likely consider it a feature for a site to allow you to see the shuffling, and gain potential information about how the opponent might be thinking.
