Here the point-shifting play 7/5(2) 3/1*(2) is singing it's siren song. Hit the blot and make the five point which is a fourth homeboard point.

Attack a single checker, prime if there's more than one straggle. Attacking seems better than priming with 6/2(2) or 7/5(2) x/x. And fiddling around in the outfield preparing to attack or prime seems to cede the initiative.
