Do we want Black to rush forward and crack or do we want to close out three checkers on the bar, risking cracking ourselves but increasing gammon chances? Gammon price on a 2-cube at 3a7a is about 9/26 which is noticeably less than 0.5. I think we hold our prime and hope for Black to rush forwards. 17/10. My guess is that 17/10 is probably still right at a normal score.
