The point of these positions is that they are contributing inappropriately to the 3 ply V1 rollout. If you do rollouts from V2, that doesn't tell us anything about the error in the V1 program. So, I wouldn't bother with the V2 rollout.

You mention that the third position is a drop. That's right! That's the point. XG takes the cube and the error and then adds equity to the rollout that is worse than if it dropped.
