I used the term "diabolical" to see who would be the first person to question why I used that term...so congratulations. Another reason is because the invention is devilishly simple. It is not intended that the tube be used in any manner during satanic rituals.
The 3000-flips trial that produced the data on my site was conducted with a tube with NO rods installed. This was done to establish a base set of data. My idea was to begin adding rods and repeating the 3000-flips trial and compare the results. My assumption was that at some point I would have added enough rods to achieve randomness. That initial trial took my wife and I the better part of 3 days to complete, and neither of us wish to go through that process again. And after looking at the initial results, I don't plan on conducting another trial...I don't see a need for it. If randomness was achieved with NO rods, then adding rods to the tube certainly could not reduce the level of randomness. So, if randomness was achieved without rods, why add rods to the tube? So that players using the tube can rest assured that random results are being produced on every flip of the tube. And because it makes the tube look outrageously wicked, or diabolical!
