Meyer Dice Tube VIDEO, Randomness & Cheating -- My Turn to Rant an Opinion

Can't believe folks feel the need to get all rile(s)d up at such an innocuous device as a dice tube. Meyer had an idea he thought might fix a problem with dice rolling and had the initiative to work on it and attempt to market it. The problem is?? I bet Al Gore did not catch as much flack (as Brett is here) when he invented the internet.
I'm also flabbergasted by the many demands to "prove" it is random. While not the uberMathematician many here are, I do not believe it is possible to prove randomness - am I wrong?
I've used the tube a fair amount and have no problems with it. I've experienced none of the highly dramaticized issues tube haters espouse (OMG - how will we ever know who's turn it is) save one - i.e., I have had to remind opps that flipping and setting the tube is ONE motion - put it down while the dice are tumbling and get your damn hand off of it.
I will point out that if not using the Meyer dice tube, using clocks has an additional as yet unmentioned advantage. When the cup rolled dice go flying off the table, one can always throw the clock in the direction the dice flew to help mark the spot. This helps prevent lost dice from holding up a match.
