I'd play 23/18 7/6. That rear checker isn't doing much right now and I'd like to get it into play. By playing 23/18 7/6 we threaten Black's blots. It's true that 23/18 leaves a triple shot but what's the alternative? 13/7? This gives Black free rein to improve his position by either running the back checker, improving his prime, pointing on us, or just biding his time. Or 23/22 7/2? That's far too timid a play when we have the stronger board, an anchor, and more checkers back, plus the chance for some return shots. The fact that it's DMP makes bold play even more justified, though I'd be inclined to play 23/18 7/6 even for money.
