Most people still see backgammon as an old mans game. All my friend play poker because of the young and hip crowd and see backgammon as an old game for old people like chess. And because they "learned" to play poker they dont want to learn another game that they feel is unpopulair. I Think the image of bg should be made cooler and hipper. Young people must relate to something to start playing i think.
