The wonderful thing about backgammon is that the bots are able to tell me how far away from perfect my play is. And with all of that imperfection, I am still able to play the bot and win my share - keeping it forever interesting. So what if all backgammon questions could be answered definitively? I reject the notion that the game would become uninteresting as a result.

There are those who would look at a bot's analysis and see "look how much I suck", and there are those who look at the same thing and see "I have the tools I need to improve". The bot glass need not be half empty.
