I may consider the 15$, but since I am not from US it seems kind of silly to be a member.

There are many members from outside of the US - including Founding Sponsors (including people like Mochy and Falafel who became lifetime members). The cost of membership will easily be returned in the form of value of current and future benefits received. The bi-monthly magazine is outstanding and worth the cost of membership all by itself - if you might consider Premium membership. And supporting the growth and success of backgammon in the US will be a catalyst for the growth and success of backgammon world wide.
