To my knowledge, it is not possible to display the dice roll and position while hiding the play choices, like Snowie's Matchquiz format.

You can hide panel.

Right click on panel - panel settings - hidden. Or choose Layout menu - Panel - Hidden.

Or you can use "board only" setup if you press Crtl+Alt+F. And return to normal setup with Crtl+Alt+N. (Both those settings can be chosen in Panel menu, too)
