I started by thinking about whether I would cube for money. I judged it to be a ND for money, with relatively few market losers and still a lot of work to do, given the even race and the need to do something about my rear anchor.

At 4a4a one needs a quick trigger finger on the cube if gammons are in the air. Here it didn't seem to me that the position was particularly gammonish. It would, I thought, be closer to a double than it would be for money, but it still struck me as an easy take and at best a small double.

So I held on to the cube, and ended up losing my market.
