Snowie favored shooting from the G-point, XG holding the G-point, making a new outfield point. Holding the G-point in a 400 pips game was for me clearcut, but i made a rollout, because:

The first backgame position is as deep as you can be in a deep backgame, behind a full prime. I favoured the "phantom prime, former known as p... prime" (even Bill Robertie knew this terminus technicus). XG favoured a weired move, but gave the ppp second with 0.003, perhaps much more then 10k 3ply necessary. That was my starting point to ask the philosophical question. By the way, the ppp play is in my opinion a human play, and it is surprising to see it as a serious contender from XG. If you are interested, i cam mail you the files.
