According to the World Backgammon Association "All matches played using game clocks must use Bronstein time."

See section 3.5.5.

So we have made Bronstein time the default. However, you can easily select Simple delay, if that's what you prefer.

We considered using a button to pause the clock, but that also could get accidentally get hit. So we decided to use a swipe and we check that the length of the swipe is at least 2 cm. In testing this has worked out well. We can always increase the swipe length if we get feedback requesting that.
