eXtreme Gammon is truly a remarkable piece of software.

eXtreme Gammon can write e-mails and respond to questions. This is something that Jellyfish and Snowie could never do.

You have probably heard that if enough monkeys type randomly on typewriters (what the F is a "typewriter?") for long enough, eventually one of them will produce an outstanding novel.

Similarly, if enough people play backgammon long enough, eventually someone with no concept or understanding of backgammon will randomly get every single decision right for the entire duration of his life. His matches will be recorded and he will be recognized as the greatest player ever. He will be at a loss, however, to explain the reasons behind his always perfect plays.

Everyone will be absolutely clueless about the fact that he is actually absolutely clueless about backgammon.

Sorry to be bearer of a pesimistic prediction, but this event may very well not happen with the liftime of any person living today.
