Sorry, that this will be your last response on what you consider a tedious topic. Your response was very educational to me. Please remember that this forum has newer players who need education on backgammon vocabulary. I am not a new player but still required explanation of raw take point. From time to time, it may be worthwhile to re-visit basic backgammon vocabulary.

I will try to remember to state adjusted take point, effective take point, or actual take point in future post. These phrases constitute the same. Since I don't use raw take points, dead take points or live take points; I won't mention them. But, I will at least understand the terms. Based on what you just taught me, only stating take point could be confusing.
