In Response To: Gammon Go Checker Play (Paul Weaver)

I'd play the normal-looking 24/14* because it's not obvious that any other play wins enough extra gammons.

As for Boxing Day, I went to a British secondary school so it was quite late in life before I learned that most people in the U.S. don't know what it is.
