Thank you, Paul, for the fine collection of gammon go rollout results. Here is a summary of all six:
31P-62R-64 g[D X12] <5
31P-63R-63 g[D X19] <5
31P-64R-62 g[L D23 X58] <542P-64R-62 g[D X19] <5
31P-62S-64 g[X D2 H24] <10
31P-63S-63 g[X=D H35] <5Key: X = hit-and-split, D = Down, L = Lift. Error sizes are in thousandths. Before the brackets, g = (gammon) go. After the brackets, < means XG 3-ply and the number of trials is in thousands (rounded down).
For example, "g[X=D H35] <5" means that at (gammon) go, X and D are tied for best and H is -.035 in an XG 3-ply rollout of 5000+ trials.
I realize that you created the 42P-64R-62 position (which I double-indented) to dodge the incidental L (Lift) play, but you can extract L from the 31P-64R-62 result, leaving you [D X33] for a better comparison to the two positions above it.
You might consider completing the second trio by rolling out 31P-64S-62-g.
Also given that you've rolled out 42P-64R-62-g, I suppose you could roll out the other five positions, 42P-63R-62-g, 42P-62R-64-g, 42P-64S-62-g, 42P-63S-63-g and 42P-62S-64-g, of that sextet. :)
