Zeus Question for Chuck: Falcons v. Saints

I am not answering for Chuck, but I think it would have been right to go for it even if they needed 15 yards, maybe 20 or more, from that yard line, with that amount of time left. A failed 4th down conversion may only cost them 25 yards of field position should they force a punt, not that I think that is a trivial amount, but they would still have chances. Going for it now and making it must result in a much higher rate of touchdowns and seems a much better strategy than punting, hoping to hold one of the best offensive teams in the NFL to no first down, and likely fighting the clock for a field goal that only ties the game if you get it. I would guesstimate the break-even point at somewhere between 20 and 30 yards.
