Googus and Gallant Rollout

Your settings appear to be the default for a Gnubg 2-ply rollout, and they're fine for nearly all positions.
2-ply, world class (8 0-ply moves within 0.16 and skip 1-ply pruning), cubeful prune, full, variance reduction and random dice.
The speed of Gnubg and today's computers being what they are, I could recommend that you select 2-ply "supremo" instead of "world class," for a larger 0-ply search filter, but in nearly all positions the results will be nearly the same.
There should no longer be enough time saving to bother selecting, instead, a smaller "narrow" or "tiny" filter, but if you did, the results would also be nearly the same for most positions.
I can't recommend 3- or 4-ply checker play -- too slow for unproven improvement in results. And very rarely I've used 3-ply cube, in (1) positions where ND is erronously reported as too good and I care about that, and (2) in (usually lopsided) positions in which 3-ply evaluation seems ok but 2-ply evaluation is obviously wrong, and immediate cube decisions are likely to be important.
